Wedding dinner

Yesterday went to the brother of my grandma's godson wedding dinner. It was a special experience for me as i seldom or never go to an afternoon wedding dinner before. On top of that both the groom and the bride are teachers. Special... What amused me is that they have a sms system where the people can send words of bless to the newlywed and it was flashed on the screen for people to read. High tech sia.. ok that's all i will stop here. Congrat to them =)

When someone talks to u about imh, what will be the first thing that come to ur mind? People there wont be able to control their own emotions and are they unapproachable? This is my mindset before going to the place. I was quite terrify actually when I reached the main lobby of woodbridge. I got the urge of going home immedly. However after the whole visit I realize that I was completely wrong they can be funny to be with and I have enjoyed myself through the visit.

What should I take for my GEMS???
Haix so many uninteresting course for me to choose from, should I begin with a science and technology, business management or arts and humanity… hope that I have already prepared a list of five modules before the actual day..

After the first day of work they call me again on Sunday to work on Monday, I worked for four hours that day… went to the wrong location that day =( the person sms-ed me to go to United Square at first but later on she called me and said Thomson Plaza but I heard as the place is at Thomson road.. haiix…so qiao that day I never bring my hp along, so my mum lent me hers… my mum called me a few minutes later after I started working asking me u haven’t reach ur work place, someone called to ur hp asking why u haven’t reached… I called back to that girl saying I reached that is when I learn that I had made a mistake… aiyo… lao le got hearing and memory problems sia… but I think that day mark off the end of that job as they never call me since that day.. hahas… Sianss going to rot at home for the next three weeks…

How come I never seem to work for more than a week??

After having nearly two weeks of holiday and today is my first day of work… The work is quite boring sia don’t know what to for the entire four hours. So stood there the four hours... No one seemed that they want to be served by me, when i approach them they just say "It's ok i will look ard myself" but when another sale person approach they are more willing to share what they are looking for=( Haix... I think they are also not very satisfied with performance… When will be my next training day? They haven’t call me yet…

Our posting result released today.
First I got quite upset as I can’t get into the course that I wanted.
All this are fate, what to do? Thinking of going to appeal but met the director while I am going to find a lecturer for consultant. In the end he gave me a firm answer that even if I appeal I wont get into the course that I wanted. Haix. After he explained to me, I gave a second thought. And learned that the course I get posted isn’t that bad either. Jiayou ba.

It is my first day as well as last day working at bee cheng hiang. I decided to resign after working for one day even though I know that i wouldnt get the pay for that day. i cant tolerate the working staffs there and also there are so much of things to be memerised it is worse than studying the whole geography textbook. Futhermore the transport going back home isnt convinence to me tooo. So decide to quit. The working staffs there were so hypocrite.. should i say that??? just lack of vocab to describe them. haix . Now have to start all over again to find another new job.

After so many weeks of waiting, finally I received a call. The call really enlightens me. Head down to their headquarter to talk about it the term and condition with Sandra. Since we are not familiar with the place so we miss a stop and we have to walk back though it wasnt very far to me. Sandra is able to start work this 8 of dec whereas for me still uncertain. Still have to wait for the person to call. Haix. But at least sure got a job le =) either start work on the same day as Sandra or 9 Jan. hope can start work with Sandra and at the same location. At least got acc and the job is easier. After the talks with them went to have my lunch and soon home.

After so long finally update my blog…
The big days had finally come to an end and today we had our graduate day.
It was held at the labourdor park.
Though it was only a few hours I really did enjoy myself.
I will definity miss the zoo class. Hahas.
Hope that we will have meet up session once in a year =)
Btw after the celebration kirti, yx , sandra and I went to vivo city. It was our first time going there tgt. Guardian was our first location and then we headed to toy r us. Stay there for a while. then we went blablabla (lazy to type out) and finally head home at ard four =)

Just come back from my o level oral examination. First when I step into the room, I was actually quite terrified and my nervousness actually caused me say the wrong things. For example, I am supposed to say ‘good evening teachers’ but I went in and said good morning teachers’ and need the teachers to help me correct it. In addition my nervousness was that both the teachers are from a well known school one of them is Anderson Sec and the other is Ang Mo Kio Sec; will they mark me down because the students from their school are indeed better than ours. Despite knowing that I told myself that I will try to give in my best whatever the outcome it is, I deserve that. I really did my best but when I was on my way home I actually found out that there are actually lots of grammatical mistakes that I had made. Not only that I think that some of my points actually don’t really make sense. Haix. What had been done is done I could not do anything much about it. So just hope that I can do better for my paper 1 and 2.

Yesterday, we actually got back our o level mother tongue result and of course I had did better than what I have expected, an a2. now I was actually quite stuck whether upon deciding if I should take a retest for it. I have asked my parents for their opinions however it is not constructive. And the other person I turned into was one of my cousins her opinions was quite good as she told me to sit for the retest as she thinks that since I have a chance of getting a better grade why not just go for it. The next person I will ask are my aunt and other cousins. Hope that I can make a decision asap. Anyways I hereby wish you(my cousin) all the best for your examination which is coming up next week, hope that you can score well enough to go into the JC and get the scholarship again as what you have done for your PSLE. I was quite disappointed today as i failed my A math mock exam.
However i tried to convince myself by saying that this exam was tough and what so ever. However this doesn't help.
Was just disappointed with my result i had gotten.

Though i have failed now it doesn't mean that i will fail my exam forever. So i must persevere and make sure next time i will score a better result. Must be what mrs menon had said before resilience. So jiayous.

Just want to say a thing today. I am so sorry to you, 某人. I didn’t say those words to hurt you intentionally. But I did it unconsciously. Sorry. But those words you have said really lead me to the answer therefore no choice just to think it that way. Maybe if there was a time machine that managed to reverse the time, I would not have said those words to you as I knew it would hurt you. This year time flies really fast at a blink of eye, it had came to the end of term two. We have got back our mid year results and I did terribly lousy for this year maybe it is because I did not really put in a lot of hard work to revise through my work. This mid year was extremely tiring I had been sleeping for the whole day except for two to three hours to revise my work. How is it possible to revise through the entire sec 3 and 4 work within the short time. Time is running short, there isn’t sufficient time for me to revise, that as a results caused me to do badly. I was quite disappointed that I failed my English. Out of all subjects
English is the only subject that I had put in a lot of hard works but the result was not satisfying at least if I failed within the passing range I would feel quite satisfied however it is not. I failed with an E8 that is the worse grade in my report book. Distress about it. No choice just have to push myself and make sure for o level I can at least get a passing grade for it. Pray to the god that I can pass if not I don’t have to go anywhere already.

There was a heavy downpour today afternoon. Once again, I didn’t bring my umbrella. It is not that I forget or what, I have that idea in mind that since I have shelter all the way from the bustop to my house there ain’t a need for me to bring umbrella. As I thought, I could have just shared with my friends till the bustop. However, I promise this thinking will change after today. I will not have that sort of thinking anymore, from today onwards I will bring my own umbrella. It might be the words you said make me reflect or is the heavy rain that caused this impact. Btw, thank to kirti and ying xuan for sharing ur umbrella with me.

Another thing happened today, while I was walking towards the bustop. When we were walking down the stair due to the rain the steps become slippery and out of balance I fell. So dui lian, there were people standing behind me. Anyway, quite upset now.. don’t know why..

08' camp

Wow… It two months since my last update…There is absolutely no time for me to blog la… homework and test have occupied all of my time...

Anyways I just come back from the three days two nights camp. There is only one word to describe the camp which is fun! This camp was one of the best camps I have attended. This camp can be so fun because of the great instructors – Ephrain, jianfeng and wenjie- and also my classmates.

On the first day we did some ice breaking game it was just for a while but it was still great. After the ice breaking games, we follow by the sea activities. Though the sea activity was fun but the weather spoilt the entire thing. After we bath, we were called to play the abseiling. At the night we did some math worksheets ( and I forget to bring calculator in the have a lot of calculation mistakes).

The second day, early in the morning, we have our morning exercise and after that we set off for our land expedition. The expedition was very tiring but managed to complete the expedition because we persevere. After the land expedition we actually have to do some high element games. However the weather does not favour us so the high element is cancelled and we were called to play the rock climbing in indoor. After that we went to practice our campfire item which was dance. At the night the grand campfire started. The campfire was a successful one.. I really enjoyed it though I am not feeling well that day.

On the third day, we did our morning exercise as well followed by the area cleaning. After that we went back to the school.

Today is a very important day as it is the ‘O’ Level results release day. The current secondary four were invited to the ceremony to give our seniors our supports. When Mrs. Menon, our principal, was addressing us, the hall was filled with dread silence, which I had never experience before. From her speech I can sense that the school did not do well. She stated that all our individual subjects are below national level except for Chinese. Before that, she also announced that for our school there were only 70 percent of passes for English, which means 30 percent failed their English. Upon hearing that fear flooded me, and many thoughts flow through my mind. I was quite terrified as I am thinking: what if I failed my English , I can get into nowhere. So their results is a wake up call for me, I will push myself so that I can obtain at least a C for my English. After Mrs. Menon finished her address, the students were allowed to get back their results and we were called to walk forwards and give some moral courage to our seniors. Upon receiving their results, some were crying while some were jumping with joy . For one case, one of the students cried before he got the results and this caused many teacher to walk forward and encourage him that he will do well and told him not to worried too much… Soon after everybody gets their results the school were filled with laughter, tears, whine and more…

Went to Singapore and Temasek poly today with Sandra and ying xuan. We took our lunch at Tampanese mall. After visiting the two polys I headed towards far east plaza. Went to the shop, which is known as bus stop to buy one clothes, for the new year. I went hilter and thither to find for that shop. End up spending more time to find for the shop than to buy the clothes. After that I went to yio chu kang mrt station to take bus home. When I reached home it is already 7.00pm.. feeling so exhausted now. Gtg and sleep.. bb

Alivin and the Chipmunks

Yesterday went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks with my cousins at Vivo city. It is 1 hr 32 min movie. The movie was good. The character I like the most is Simon because he looks so cool with the spec. Before the movie start, the chipmunks put up a performance outside the cinema. They have a photo taking session and we managed to take a photograph with them. We also got a notebook with the chipmunks on the cover page. The notebook is cute. We saw Mark lee and Pan Ling Ling’s (don’t know how to spell) family at Vivo City too.

I went to the ICA building to make my IC today. My father accompanied me to there. We went there very early in the morning, as my father was quite busy in the afternoon. Before reaching there, I thought that we might be the first one to reach there but to my surprise a lot more people were there waiting already. Immediately after that building opened, a lot of people rushed into the building as though they are running for their lives. Gosh. Singaporeans. Haixx.

I started my day in a very special way today. I woke up early in the morning and went for a jogged near my house. I jogged around the football field one round and I felt very tired. This is what happened if you don’t exercise regularly. I have not been doing any exercises since my last PE lesson which is about two months ago. Lazy. I will continue to keep myself fit. Haha. So I would not fail my 2.4km next year. Haha

Escape Theme Park

Just came back. It was the first time in history that I never go to my grandma’s house on a Sunday. I went to escape theme park with three of my friends and one teacher, Mr. Dinesh. The things there are quite fun except a few. I like the inverter the most as it is the most thrilling among all the others. We played all the stuff there except some that were under construction or something else, which was pirate ship, rainbow and the revolution. We also played the mini game there and it cost $2 per game. Our teacher treated us the game and he spent around $26 for it. We won two soft toys one of it is a dog and the other is a 9.5 monkey. After that we proceeded to tampinese mall to have our lunch. We had our lunch in pastamania. After having our lunch we proceed to the funland to play some games there. It was fun. We went to walk around the mall and went home. I enjoyed the day.

Today is a boring day as gaya and kasturi did not come and furthermore Kirti went home earlier which means there were only two people in the booth Sandra and myself. Surprise

Today is our first day in the Suntec City for the exhibition. Kirti and I went to have our lunch together. Kirti suggested to have our lunch in the burger king. Since we are not familiar with the place or should we say that the place is too complex for us, we went all around the place to find for the burger king and finally we found it. We had our lunch there. After we ate finish our lunch, we went back to our booth and later on in the evening, a very surprising thing happened. Sandra, Chun Hui and Ying Xuan brought a present for me as my birthday is coming. Thank you to the lovely girls. I love their gift a lot, thanks.

Grandma's house

Today I went to my grandma’s house. It is like usual so boring. I could only play with my baby cousin, jiarong. Lame right? I had heard good news. It is that one of my cousins, jiaqi, was first in her school. I can see that she has been working very hard to achieve this results, good luck and work harder so that you can achieve your dreams, which is to go to the raffles girl sec in two years time right? I must also congrats my another cousin, jiaxin, for achieving a better result in her sec school life, well done and keep up your hard work. Okay, I will stop here.

Lately I have been asking myself a question. ‘Have I ever regretted at any point of time in my life.’ The answer is yes. I have regretted of not being serious in my primary life, which causes me to have a hard time coping with my work in secondary school. During this November vacation, I will be filling up whatever things I have miss during the primary life, as I do not hope to feel the same kinds of bitterness after I left my secondary school education next year.
